Wilfredson’s isn't just a brand - it’s personal
The name comes from Nordic tradition, meaning “son of Wilfred”. It's a nod to family, legacy, and the idea that what we build today carries forward.
Wilfred was Dan’s grandfather, a man he never had the chance to meet, but whose name lives on through the business. That same thread continues with Dan’s son, Fredrik.
Why is the name so important?
Financial planning, at its core, is about people, families, and what we provide for our children. Not just money, but values, opportunities, and security. Wilfredson’s was built with that in mind.
Meet our Maker
Dan Raggett FPFS BSc - Chartered Financial Planner
For over 7 years, Dan has combined strong technical knowledge with a relaxed, approachable style that makes conversations about money feel simple and human.
Dan believes that money is there to be used, not worried about, and works closely with clients to build Financial Plans that let them spend more time living and less time second-guessing their decisions.
He is passionate about helping people get clear on what they want life to look like, and then putting in place a practical plan so they feel confident taking action.
Dan is a natural mentor and collaborator, always looking to share ideas and best practice so that more people can benefit from high-quality financial planning.
His academic background includes four years of Accounting & Finance at the University of Southampton, where his first-class dissertation examined how financial literacy influences the demand for advice – work that still shapes the way he educates people and their families today.

But our mission extends beyond our clients.
Every Friday we deliver financial education sessions in schools, workplaces and community organisations, helping people build the knowledge and confidence to make better financial decisions throughout their lives.
